How to batch download anime or manga

Are you an anime fan or otaku? Even if you are a casual anime watcher or manga reader, it's undeniable that these mediums provide immense entertainment and satisfaction. Most of the time we watch these kinds of stuffs online, however, there are times when we also want to be able to watch them offline. Perhaps you're traveling on a very long-distance train journey, or you have to be in a location for a while where there is poor or no internet connection and you need to prevent yourself from getting bored. This means you need to prepare your anime or manga collection beforehand. Let's see how WFDownloader App helps us achieve this.

We start with the anime section first but you can skip this and jump straight to the manga section.

For Anime

In this tutorial, I'll be downloading the entire One Punch Man series from an anime site called ~~animeplus.tv~~ (use gogoanime.cm instead since that's dead and this site has both subs and dubs and allows selecting video quality such as 360p, 480p, 720p, and 1080p via a "Config" button). I recommend this site because it has a huge collection of animes, its updates are timely, and the ads here are unobtrusive, unlike many popular anime sites. Also, the videos are smaller here and represent a balance between size and quality. As such it is very suitable for watching on mobile devices and would eat less internet bandwidth for those who are concerned about their metered connections.

Go to the site and search for "one punch man" and click Go.
In the search result, select One Punch Man.
Copy the URL from the address bar.
Open WFDownloader App and click the Add button on the toolbar. Notice that it has been inserted for you in the link address field. You can also insert it manually using Ctrl+V.
Select the folder you want the anime to be downloaded in using the Browse button. Click the Confirm button when done. The link search will now begin.
Note: For some anime sites like kissanime.ru, you may notice a "Config" button appears at the lower-left corner of the dialog box above. You can use it to configure various options such as ranges of anime episodes to download or video quality of 480p, 720p, 1080p depending on the sites that support it and what they allow. In this example, however, the button is hidden as animeplus does not support any batch download configuration.
Once the link search is completed, click the Confirm button and a download batch for the anime will be created and added for you. Although duplicate links are automatically removed for you, you can manually remove the links you don't want by using the "Remove Links" button. This is useful in cases where you want to download only part of the anime series.
Click either the Start or Resume button to begin the downloads. You can go sip some coffee and allow the downloads to be completed by the time you return.
Once completed, you can watch any of the episodes using your default video player by right-clicking and then selecting "Open".

If you want to download just a single episode rather than all the episodes, you should go to the episode page you want rather than the series page. For example, if I wanted to download only episode 12 of one punch man, I will copy the web URL "http://www.animeplus.tv/one-punch-man-episode-12-online" to WFDownloader App rather than the one used in the above tutorial i.e. "http://www.animeplus.tv/one-punch-man-online". For Manga

In this tutorial, I'll be downloading the manga Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! from ~~goodmanga.net~~ (use manganato.com or manganelo.com instead since that's dead). The site is easy to use, has a huge collection of mangas, and most of all has less-obtrusive ads. The tutorial is similar to the one explained above. Just use manga web links instead of anime ones. However, for the sake of those who didn't read the above tutorial and just jumped straight to the manga section, I will repeat the whole steps.

Go to the site and search for "kono subarashii" and click Go.
In the search result, select Kono Subarashii...
Copy the web URL of the manga page from the address bar. If you just want to download only a chapter in this manga (and not the whole manga), scroll down the page and copy the URL of the chapter you want instead. For instance to select chapter 20 only, right-click on its link and select "Copy link address".
Open WFDownloader App and click the Add button on the toolbar. Notice that it has been inserted for you in the link address field. You can also insert it manually using Ctrl+V.
Select the folder you want the manga to be downloaded in using the Browse button. Click the Confirm button when done. The Link search will now begin.
Once the link search is completed, click the Confirm button and a download batch for the manga will be created and added for you.
Click either the Start or Resume button to begin the downloads. You can go drink some lemonade and allow the downloads to be completed by the time you return.
Once completed, you can right-click on the batch and select "Open Folder" to start reading. Notice that the chapters are neatly organized for you.
